Tackle it Tuesday!!

This is my desk!! I know it makes my skin crawl to look at this picture and I have to say I can't quite believe I'm actually posting a picture of it for everyone to see!!! Better Late than Never!!

So okay...I know its a little late in the day for a post but I promise that I back in bloggy business after this what month break!! Things have been super crazy around here. House Hunting will hopefully be coming to an end tomorrow if we find out good news!! Everyone please say a prayer that everything works out.

On a lighter note...while I've not been blogging myself I have actually started reading some new blogs and stumbled upon some really cool stuff.

I stumbled across an awesome blog called Unplug your Kids check her out and get in on the action!! It's awesome!!! Each week she has a different theme for projects to do with your kids. This was our first week the theme is scissors!!
We decided, well I decided, to make our very own flower garden. So I got out all my old Better Home and Garden mags and went to town clipping out pics of flowers. That was the cutting part of the project. Get scissors to cut out the pictures. Then we glued the flowers on a sheet of paper to make our own flower garden!! The little man loved it and we had fun. Here's some pics of our project this week!! Also some from last week when the theme was food. He made pudding paint and had a ball painting beautiful pics. Little Boo even joined in on the fun!!!

Monday Madness!!

I just had to share the Little Man's exquisite taste for fashion!! I was sitting downstairs when he came trampling down the stairs in this get up!! Too hilarious not to share!!! And had to make a memory of it in his first Fashion Disaster!!!

Finally found a HOUSE!!!

For those of you who know about our house hunt
that has been an ongoing battle for what two going on three months now, we have finally found one and have a contract signed and in order on one!!! YEAHHHHHH!!!
It will be finalized hopefully by the end of next week if everything works out!! But at least we have a signed contract in hand!! So that is a huge burden off of us. It'll be plenty of room, plenty of storage, and almost everything we've been looking for!!! We are so excited and hope that all the last pieces of the puzzle fall into place. So keep your fingers, toes, and whatever else you want to crossed for us that everything works out!!!

Big Score at Target!!!

Okay...so I hit the Target this morning kids in tow and marched (literally, per the Little Man's request) straight to the Easter stuff!!! WoooooHOOOOOOOOO for 75% off!! I got 4 big bags of stuff for $30 that's right you heard me $30.44 to be exact.
Here are a few things I got...
3 count them 3 Easter Baskets
3 packs of Easter dye kits
Several Easter toys: Barbie Kelly dolls etc.
5 pink and pastel colored Picture Frames that don't even look Easterish
4 Easter Tops for Little Boo next year
Several Marvel Comic Figurines
Several packs of the easter eggs like frogs and shapes
and several more things I can't remember!!!

I was so happy I nearly hopped out of the store. Well actually I did (again per the Little Man's request)!!! I would love to know what the Target people are thinking when we come in. I'm sure it's something like "who is this crazy woman with these two little cuties"!!! It's okay I have fun with them and they love it!!!

So who cares!!!!

You should try it it's really fun!!! So when you go to this WONDERFUL Target sale go and march in to the Easter stuff and then when you leave Hop like a bunny out of the store!!! You'll see how fun it really is!!!

Sugar Rush!!!

I know that Wordless Wednesday is suppose to be well, Wordless but I just had to share with you about our Wonderful Easter!! So let's call this...
Wonderful, Wordfull, Wednesday with Pictures!!

I think my little Man is coming down off his high of Easter Candy. Darn, that Easter Bunny who told him to buy all that candy anyway? I don't know if it's a crash from the sugar or just sheer exhaustion from the wonderful Easter weekend that we had. We had a most enjoyable weekend with lots food and family! A great combination!! I hosted the family for our Easter Fiesta and other than a mishap with turning the temp. up on my fridge and turning the deviled eggs into deviled cubes ice, everything turned out good!!! I hope it'll become a tradition!!!

Although these pictures may say something different they both actually had a very good Easter!! This was the aftermath of the mad rush to get ready for Church!! Once we were in the car on the road they were both Happy! But I didn't get a pic of that!! Maybe next year!!!

Not So Wordless Wednesday!!

So I was catching up from my two week break that I had taken on writing and reading! And was checking out some fellow bloggers.
Boo Mama wrote about a new CD that she had gotten, Dave Barnes check him out here!!!, and let me just tell you he is AWESOME!!! She was totally right it does just make me want springtime here even more!!! I'm totally hooked and definitely gonna try to make it out to see him when he's in my area!!! Woooo Hooo!!

Just a Funny Story!!!

So I was talking to the Little Man the other day about God and how God wants him to be kind to his friends and family. To be a good little boy and obey. He wanted to know where is God and now any book we read that has a picture of Jesus or talks about God he says "is that God?" So I explain to him, no you can't see God he is in Heaven looking down on you and taking care of you. God lives in the sky in the clouds. That was just the preface to my story now here is the funny part!!

I signed him up for a Disney book club much to my dismay because all the books are basically a synopsis of the Disney Movies!! Don't get me wrong I love reading to the little man but after seeing Cars for the 2 millionth time then having to read a summary of the entire movie it gets old. So he picks up Cinderella the other night and wants to read it. Oh how proud his father would be I thought. So I begin to read. It gets to the part of the "Fairy Godmother" he stops, sits up in bed, looks at me and then pulls the book really close and looks really hard. Then looks back at me and says, "Mama, that's God?" So then I had to explain to him what a fairy god mother was. It was too funny!!!
